Biography
François Diévart graduated in Interventional Cardiology in 1995 and spent two years as Assistant Professor of Medicine in Paris before moving to a private cardiology practice in Dunkerque. He is a member of the European and French Societies of Cardiology and a member of the scientific committee at the College National des Cardiologues Français. He is actually chairman of the working group of Clinical and therapeutic Pharmacology of the French Society of Cardiology. He has been involved in numerous medical publications such as the French Yearbook of Cardiology from 1999 to 2007 as Editor in Chief, and has authored more than 30 French-language textbooks in Cardiology across a broad range of topics. He is a member of many scientific committees/review boards (Réalités Cardiologiques, Cardinale, Le Cardiologue, Le quotidien du médecin). He has authored more than 600 Continuous Medical Education articles for French cardiologists and general practitioners, and has contributed to more than 350 French congress communications in epidemiology, cardiovascular therapeutic and clinical trials.
