Dr. Hussein graduated from faculty of medicine , Alexandria University in 1991, performed Physical medicine and Rehabilitation residency 1993-1996, got faculty appointment at Alexandria university. 1997.Then came to the United states in 1999 to perform doctoral degree at Albert Einstein college of medicine. Dr. Hussein then did one year residency of internal medicine at Mount Saini in 2000, then performed Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Montefiore Medical Center.2001-2003. Dr. Hussein then went back to Egypt and became Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Alexandria University and obtain this as a permanent title. Dr. Hussein returned back to USA 2015 and become triple board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Pain medicine and Electrodiagnostic medicine. Currently Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Albert ِEinstein/Montefiore. Also has private pain management office in the Bronx.

During the cardiology training I have done over 2000 diagnostic coronary angiograms and performed over 600 PCI s including primary and routine PCIs. I have experience in PTMC and ASD, PDA and ruptured sinus of vulsulva anneurysm device closures as primary operator. I am competent in pericardial Aspiration and sheath insertion, temporary and permanent pacemaker implantation and inserting central venous lines. I am competent in emergency intubation and resuscitation.

Rainer Moosdorf is working in the field of Cardiovascular Surgery since more than 35 years. He started his career as a Resident at University Hospital in Giessen in 1978. In 1990, he became a full Professor for Cardiovascular Surgery at University in Bonn and Vice Chairman of the respective department. In 1989 and 1990, he was a Researcher and Clinical Fellow at Carolinas Heart Institute in Charlotte/NC. Since 1994, he has been working at University Hospital in Marburg as a full Professor for Cardiovascular Surgery and Director of the Department. Between 2001 and 2011, he was Vice Medical Director and since 2006, Medical Director at University Hospital in Marburg. His main specialties within cardiovascular surgery are “Laser and arrhythmia surgery, endovascular procedures including TAVI´s and endovascular reconstructions of the aortic arch, reconstructive surgery of the coronaries and some types of the French correction”. As Chairman of the board of Medical Network Hessen, he is an official representative of the State of Hessen in the field of Clinical Medicine and Medical Education.

Dr Avanzas graduated in Medicine at Universidad de Navarra, Pamplona, Spain. He completed Senior House Officer posts and registrar training in Cardiology at Gregorio Marañón Hospital in Madrid, Spain. He took up a Spanish Heart Foundation Research Fellowship at Coronary Artery Research Unit, St. George´s Hospital Medical School in London and some months after that he was appointed as Associate Research Investigator of the Cardiovascular Biology Research Centre at St. George´s Hospital in London. He was also appointed as Consultant Cardiologist in Gregorio Marañón Hospital, Madrid, Spain and he also took up an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship in Hospital Universitario Central de Asturias, Oviedo, Spain. He is now Consultant in Invasive Cardiology in this Hospital. His major interests currently are in the field of coronary artery disease and inflammation, markers of myocardial ischemia and interventional cardiology, particularly antiplatelet therapies and percutaneous valve replacement. He is Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (working groups: Atherosclerosis, European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions and Acute Cardiovascular Care Association) and member of European Society of Atherosclerosis, International Society of Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy (Spanish Gobernor and WEB editor), Spanish Society of Cardiology and several regional cardiac societies. Dr Avanzas is author of more than 170 peer-reviewed articles and invited contributions (h-index=19) and Associate Editor of Revista Española de Cardiología (IF:3.3), Heart India and Bio Med Research International (IF: 2,7). He belongs to several scientific journal Editorial Boards (American Journal of Cardiology, World Journal of Translational Medicine, ISRN Cardiology, BioMed Research International, World Journal of Meta-Analysis, Advances in Medicine…). He is a frequent reviewer of more than 30 Cardiology journals and is also involved in teaching medical students and postgraduate teaching. Dr Avanzas is a frequent speaker at national and international meetings.
