Biography
MBBS (2 nd class honours) university of Peradeniya 2012, MD Medicine University of Colombo MRCP UK. Completed 3 years of Postgraduate MD in Cardiology , Postgraduate institute of Medicine, University of Colombo. (Trained at National Hospital Kandy under the supervision of 10 Consultant Cardiologists) I have experience in general, interventional cardiology and echocardiography including 3D imaging. During the cardiology training I have done over 2000 diagnostic coronary angiograms and performed over 600 PCI s including primary and routine PCIs. I have experience in PTMC and ASD, PDA and ruptured sinus of vulsulva anneurysm device closures as primary operator. I am competent in pericardial Aspiration and sheath insertion, temporary and permanent pacemaker implantation and inserting central venous lines. I am competent in emergency intubation and resuscitation.
